-Dickinson Municipal Terminal
Many changes have occured to the terminal over the past few years. Recently, a high tech baggage security system has been installed. This piece of equipment now makes Dickinson one of the safest airports in the state.
In the section to the left is Dickinson Air Service, Inc, which repairs airplanes and provides various air services.
United Express Beech 1900D is also showen in the picture. They are the only scheduled air service that Dickinson recieves, with flights going to and from Williston, ND and Denver.
Dickinson Municipal has no control tower, therefore pilots communicate using UNICOM. UNICOM (123.00) is operated 24 hrs. a day by controllers working at Dickinson Weather Inc, which is in the building next to the terminal. Besides radio equipment, Dickinson Weather Inc has the latest in high tech weather instruments.
On the north side of the building (the second picture), is the main hanger, where transients can park their airplanes.
Fed Ex and UPS also has daily cargo routes.
